Le Grenier de Notre Dame Restaurant Végétarien Vegetarian Restaurant in Paris
This is our favorite restaurant in Paris: Le Grenier de Notre Dame, 18, rue de la Bucherie, 75005. We've gone several times during this trip in Paris. We never miss eating here when in Paris. Try their Assiette Royal!

St. Eustache, one of the most beautiful churches in Paris, took 105 years to build! Moliére was buried here. Richelieu was baptized here.
Saturday, June 2, 2007 We went to a movie at Les Halles. You never know where each specific theater will make you exit. This was a nice surprise!
For centuries, Les Halles was an area of markets --fruits and vegetables, meat, etc. Zola called it "the underbelly of Paris." This was torn down and moved to a suburb near Orly. A modern shopping complex opened in its place in 1979. It contains shops, restaurants, and movie theaters, in several levels, many of them underground.
BUTTERFLY PAVILLION
Another great vegetarian restaurant in Paris: Victoire Supreme du Coeur, next to Les Halles
Hotel de Ville, Town Hall, originally constructed in the 17th century, is a 19th century reconstruction of the original that burned down in 1871.
